help me please this is my report tomorrow.... pleaseeeee differentiation of algebraic function. y = 6x^3-7x^2 +1 at the point where the curve crosses the x axis

hero (hero):

Hello @christine.joy How far have you gotten with this problem? Were you able to find y' ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hero ive got it in calculus book

hero (hero):

You've found y' ? Would you mind showing your work up to this point? If you've already found y' post it here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how to solve that because it wasnt discussed in class,

hero (hero):

To find y', find the derivative of each term. For example, the derivative of 6x^3 is 18x^2. Are you able to find the derivative of -7x^2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cannot understand

hero (hero):

I recommend that you review the power rule for derivatives.

pleased read my pm @Hero
