OpenStudy (kanwal32):
if \[x^{2}y^3=6 (x,y>0) \] then the least value of \[3x+4y\]
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
do u have any suggestions or I should start from more basic problems

OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes i think i have seen a gimmick for this
OpenStudy (anonymous):
start by writing
\[3x=\frac{3x}{2}+\frac{3x}{2}\]and similarly
\[4y=\frac{4y}{3}+\frac{4y}{3}+\frac{4y}{3}\]
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
ok but y to match it with the no of terms and power
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the arithmetic mean is
\[\frac{3x+4y}{5}\] and it is larger than the geometric mean
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
yes

or at all!
OpenStudy (kanwal32):
ok
(can u suggest any book or site where can I find these kind of problems)
