A square is inscribed in a circle with radius r. What is the probability that a randomly selected point within the circle will NOT be in the square?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The area of the square is the sample space, the area of the circle is the event space. Divide the latter by the former to get the probability. This is assuming the points are randomly selected in an equiprobable manner.
