From the time that Islam first spread through the Arab world, why would it have taken another 100 years for Islam to reach Central Asia? A. Islam spread as Arab empires expanded into the region. B. Islam converted Christian believers, which took a long time. D. Islam spread first through the Roman Empire and then into Central Asia.

I believe A. is correct. It could also be D. @aric200, what do you think?

I wouldn't think D because Islam never reached quite a bit of the Roman Empire (e.g. Italy, France...)
