Here's an example: Divide \(x^2 – 9x – 10\) by \(x + 1\).

OpenStudy (igreen):

Set up our division: \(x+1 \sqrt{x^2-9x-10}\)

OpenStudy (igreen):

Now we divide the first term. This will be much easier to draw..Lol.
