I'd give a medal for the best answer :3
Do exactly what the instruction says. In 9log(x), replace x by 8 and that will be your answer.
alright i got 8.127. hopefully thats the right answer. thanks again!
Sometimes just 9log(8) will be an acceptable answer. Sometimes they expect you to evaluate using a calculator and provide them with a number. So the answer depends on what form they are expecting here.
oh well they wanted my answer to be a decimal and i was told to round it to 3 decimal places.

9log(8) = 8.127809.... If you round to 3 decimal places, it is 8.128 (not 8.127)
oh. well thanks
you are welcome.
