can you solve \[7x-13=5\]?
18/7
steps are add 13 divide by 7
so your inverse is \[f^{-1}(x)=\frac{x+13}{7}\]
if you want a step by step procedure you already pretty much did it

Okay that's what I got the first time
start with \[7y-13=x\] solve for \(y\)
\[7y-13=x\\ 7y=x+13\\ y=\frac{x+13}{7}\]
