educational reform industrial growth an economic boom military growth

I've honestly got no idea on this one. But I would think after the war, they wouldn't have military growth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I didn't see era in the question.. I have no idea..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yeah. Do you know what the United States and other allied countries imposed on the Axis powers after WWII?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To pay for the war, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep. We also made sure they would never be able to start a war again, but this time, we meant it. We learned our lessons from WWI and Germany, so we set up military bases in Germany, and Japan. I'm pretty sure Britain did the same to Italy. We basically put those there so that our overwhelming show of force (air force bases with larger personnel counts than usual) so that they knew they would never be able to start anything again. Those bases still exist today. We have MCAS Okinawa, and Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany.

So, what do you think the answer is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Military Growth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bingo!
