Ok, a pentagon is made of of 3 triangles right? And how many angles are in a triangle? |dw:1404534961511:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, sorry I meant to ask what do the angles add up to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1404535162327:dw| Correct and then you have three triangles so that's 180*3=540 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1+2+3=180 3+4+5=180 And so, and now basically since there's 5 spots on the interior for the angles you just have to do \[\Large \frac{ 540 }{ 5 }\]

And what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

108?

thank you so much for helping!!!(:
