AED is just like a defibrillator as it slows the heart rate. When you think of the electrical devices and how they are used, is the electrical pulse that is carried through the different devices the same and do they pose the same type of danger?

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

i'd say yes

dude pretend its a really good looking girl you see at the bar. she'll stop your heart. but in the end she MAY be a gold digger or the mother of your children. its a chance thing. Now i dont wanna get black listed just because i am using an analogy to help someone out so anyone who thinks i am being racist or sexist can go jump. i'm just saying that like an AED a really gorgeous girl COULD be dangerous. (unless youre into that). have an awesome day!

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes most of the electrical devices carry Alternating Currents or AC, which poses threat of getting electric shock.
