Jasmine and Madison are playing a game with two dice. They roll both dice and add the two numbers. Jasmine wins if the total is even. Is this a fair game? If it isn't, suggest a rule that would make it fair.

It isn't as only an uneven number plus an even number equals an uneven number while an even number plus an even number equal an even number and an uneven number plus an uneven number equal an even number.

Further there are seven even number between 2 and 12 (inclusive; note that 2 is the minimum number that can be obtained), and only five uneven numbers

Now, if they had something like, "Jasmine wins if both dice are even, or the sum of the two values is greater than seven (exclusive); Madison wins if both dice are uneven or the sum of the two values are less than or equal to seven" Then the game would be fair as both would have an equal chance of winning
