Flies I don't think pollinate , I dunno for sure and blackberries . . Can they be pollinated ?

well, but they do!

the question want you to learn that plants use different strategies to procreate. they either just throw their sperm into the air and hope that they get lucky and the wind will do the sexy part for them - or they use critters/insects (like flies or bees) to carry their sperm to the "plant vaginas".

and the only way you are gonna get plant pollen in your mucosal areas is by inhaling them. and that's only possible if the pollen is carried by wind.

by the way: plants ONLY produce nectar to attract bees/flies. and while they are sucking out th nectar, the sticky pollen gets attached to their bellies. then, on the next female plant, they will deliver the pollen to initiate the reproduction process.

yea, kinda, but you had the right instinct nevertheless =) allergy season begins when pollen flies around.
