Adding & subtracting polynomials

(-6x^2 + 9x)-(2x + 5 - 3x^2)+(7x^2 - 6x + 2)

i proceeded to group as such:

(7x^2 + 3x^2)-(2x - 9x) + (2 + 5)+ -6x^2
then lost

What exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to write a program that does this, or trying to do this using a certain language? Matlab is good at this, but you can do this with almost any language, it just depends on what specifically you want to do.
