The granting of voting rights to African American men This is the main spark of the woman's rights movement, Women would want to make a point in a heated debate, but nobody would listen because women didn't have the power to vote or anything. So they decided that they needed to gain the right to vote. (if my logic doesn't make sense just ask me to explain in further depth)
