Its Homeostasis Note: Homeostasis is actually a set of processes because there are variety of different changes in internal conditions OTHERS: Hibernation - a process which results in some animals sleeping throughout the winter Hypothermia - a condition in which the body temperature drops very low

I hate it when they ask these questions to students. This is the reverse. Homeostasis is not what allows a cell to keep a relatively constant internal condition. It is what we call the cells ability to do so. @Ail.A Also, hibernation is not sleeping, it is quite different, and hypothermia is when the internal temps of an organism become significantly and pathologically lower than temps to sustain cellular processes.
