Choose the statement that is true. A. If two polygons are congruent, then they are similar. B. If two quadrilaterals are rhombi, then they are similar. C. If two hexagons are equiangular, then they are similar. D. If two triangles are isosceles, then they are similar.
What do you think ?
A
Right For polygon to be similar they have to have the same angle and same ratio of lengths and this condition is only exists when they are congruent
@Zioh did you get it?
congruent means two figures have the same shape and size. rhombi are quadrilaterals whose four sides are the same shape, an equiangular is a polygon whose vertex angles are equal, and isosceles is a triangle with at least two equal sides. similar means theres a resemblance without being identical. so what do you think the answer is?
I believe it's A.
Thank you both for the help.
no problem, good luck! :)
