During a clothing store's Bargain days, the regular price is for t-shirts is discounted to $5. There is a state sales tax is 5% and the $5 discount is applied before the sales tax is calculated. Write an expression that shows the regular price r, of a t-shirt with a $5 discount applied?
brb but still help me plzz k
k it will take me a second to read this in any cade
ok kcool nd thanx for all your help
maybe you can take a screenshot or something because i keep reading this and it is not english i understand my best guess is that t shirts are discounted a flat $5 so if the initial price was \(r\) then after a $5 discount it would be \(r-5\) then to add a 5% tax multiply by \(1.05\) that would make the final priice \[(r-5)(1.05)\]
i would not bet more than $3 on my answer though because i can't really make heads nor tails of what is written
ok ho;ld on nd thanx
it'll take a bit k
