explain difference between reversible and irreversible process. explain reversible process with example

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Reversible substances are those substances which can be brought back to their original form once they have been changed. The change is not permanent. For example: ice..... when the ice is melted it can be changed back to ice by freezing. Irreversible substances can not be brought back to their original form once changed. In this case the change is permanent. this change is usually chemical. For example cooking an egg.
