Something like: \[y=\frac{ 100x }{ x+7 }\] will approach 100 as either x either increases or decreases. You could use this to begin forming the rational function \[y=\frac{ 100x }{ x(x-1) }\] It's not finished yet. Notice: you will not have your needed y= 100 for large x.
