Which answers can you immediately cross out as being wrong?
i can only see d as wrong
Remember, the question is going to give you three true statements, and one false statement. It is asking you to identify the false statement. Knowing that, are you still considering D as wrong?
thats where im stuck im unsure which is right
Well what do you know about Mahan?
he is a historian he created a concept called sea power
Right, so would B be a wrong answer to this question?
yes
i auctally think a is the answer now after that and looking at it again
cause he didnt have military service that i know of
Unfortunately A is true as well. He wrote many books about history, and his concept of Sea Power. He was a Captain in the United States Navy (union navy), and did all he could to avoid sea duty in favor of shore duty. This allowed him to become a famous strategist, and write the books he's famous for.
After he retired, he was even promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral.
so there for making it c
Yep, I think you've got it!
yeah i really dont know much about him so it made this question really difficult for me
thank you
