what is the diff. b/w analog & digital communication?????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are many difference but a simple one is in analog communication we use continuous time signals, but in digital communication we use discrete type signal by first sampling the continuous time signal. if wrong plz correct it

is there s any diff. b/w discrete time signal and digital signal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes their is a difference, a digital signal is defined as a signal which has finite amplitude values and continuous in time for example a pulse train, where as a discrete signal is sum of shifted impulses and defined at particular instant of time and also has finite amplitude values. if wrong plz correct
