"Ribosomes - Site of protein synthesis. Consists of a small subunit and a large subunit. They are found freely floating in the cytosol or attached to the endoplasmic reticulum. They are made up of ribosomal RNA and protein. "
Both nucleus and ribosomes are involved in protein synthesis !
DNA of nucleus is transcripted into mRNA which contains the info about protein molecule. This is then Translated by ribosomes.
