This does not need ot be a 'system of equations (or 'simultaneous equations) because there is only one variable - x

\[x ^{2}+3x+1=2x ^{2}+2x+3\]

To solve it - reaarange the equation so that you have
\[ax ^{2}+bx+c=0\]
Then use a quadratic equation method (factorisation, complete the square, or use quadratic formula) to solve for x
