I want you to figure out: - how many cells do you need, for one cell to undergo division? - how many cells are there after division? - how would you distiguish between outcoming cells? (for there to be a 'mother/daughter' classification, you must be able to tell which one is mother and which one is the daughter, of course.) have fun ;-)
