Yeah, I would also say the second one. If you say it out loud, the first one doesn't sound correct at all...That second comma is unnecessary. :P

I agree with @adrynicoleb. This is a terrible construction, beginning with the mysterious "it." shifting to the second person, and concluding with a trite expression. Criticism comes easily to the lips of those who have not suffered experience.
