You could probably go with these to help out:

Aztecs:
- extremely warlike
- practiced quite a lot of human sacrifice

Incas:
- architecture used stone blocks cut and shaped to fit together that looked a bit like puzzle pieces
- didn't have a written language, used knotted rope called quipu for records keeping, ceramics, or oral traditions

Mayans
- practiced astronomy
- developed an impressive understanding of mathematics
