Okay absolute value in inequalities works this way: |2x + 6| = Either 2x+6 Or -2x - 6 [take the absolute value of these to see they both work] So 3x < |2x +6| < 3x add -6 through subtract 3x through You can solve but remember if you divide by a negative number, reverse the inequalities.
