How do you think the genes could be responsible for cellular differences?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well the DNA is used as a template to replicate itself with an anti-template that can be used during fission to divide one cell into 2 cells. If there slips a mistake in the template of a cell (because of age, cancer or viral RNA) then the mistake is passed on. And in time with every new replication mistakes start to differ and add up.
