Can you visualize any way around using access control to have a secure infrastructure? If it seems possible, how?

Can you narrow your question down a bit more? Do you mean just the computer hardware of a company or the building itself. My building has access control with  fingerprint access and some doors require an access card which are being phased out. for our PCs you cannot access our network and most of our platforms without a password and some of our laptops are set up with fingerprint and / or facial recognition access. Some have voice recognition as well. We are trying to standardize but with such a large staff and so many managers it is quite difficult to do that. Everyone wants different things.
