what would happen to a cell if the fatty acids in the cell membrane became soluble in water?

Firstly, this is mathematics section so please post this in chemistry or biology section. Secondly, I don't think free fatty acids exist in cell membrane... Thirdly, which grade are you in?
A) It would cause the cell to lose all its contents B)It would decrease the amount of ions needed by a mitochondrion c) It would increase the rate of cell division D)it would stop all substances from passing through
I guess the cell membrane will dissolve so A? Don't count on me though.
