Anybody here speak fluent Latin? (Or can at least translate it without a translator?)
latin as in spanish? i do
Latin as in the dead language. (Are they the same thing?)
Well not the same thing, but close enough to it be simular?
Oh I know what you mean but either way give me an example and I'll see if I can translate it myself
1. Poetae pecuniam dabo I give money to poets. 2. Reginae fabulam nuntiabamus We announce the story to the queen. 3. Vias provinciarum aedificas. I build the roads of the provinces. 4. Praedam patriae occupabant. We seize loot from the country. 5. Regina fabulam poetae laudabit. The queen praises the poet’s story. 6. Agricolae terram Italiae laborabant. Farmers work the land of Italy. 7. Fama, fortuna, et pecunia nautam vocant. Fame, Fortune, and money call sailors. 8. Nauta puellae pecuniam dat. The sailor gives the money to the girl. 9. Poeta reginae fabulas nuntiabit. The poet reports the story to the queen. 10. Agricola et femina poetae villam reginae monstrabant. The farmer and woman poets show the farmhouse to the queen. Thats the assignment I did, I got 50%. =P She didn't tell me what was wrong.
Man I had to use the translator /: I tried on two different ones and they gave me this for #10 The farmer showed the queen and female poets country.
YEah, thanks anyway. =)
