Mrs Hernandez is covering the top of a kitchen shelf that is 26 3/8 inches long and 15 1/2 inches wide . She incorrectly measures the length to be 25 inches long. How will this error affect her calculations

She needs to cover an area of 408.82 inches square, but with that error in measurement she will only be able to cover 387.5 inches square, so she will be short the difference which is 21.31 square inches.
