Solve the following system. x^2 - y = 3 x - y = -3 The solution set

OpenStudy (cp9454):

3,-2

i'm missing 2 more sets, would it be -2,3,3,3?

@hartnn

OpenStudy (cp9454):

put the value of y = x+3 in eqn no.1. then solve the quadetric eqn. for x. you will get values (x,y) = (3,6) & (-2,1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer is -2,1,3,6? @cp9454

OpenStudy (cp9454):

no its the way i have written because 6 and 1are values of y
