I need some serious help people! :O

OpenStudy (imstuck):

We can only try...whatcha got?

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

if x1 i x2 are the solution to the equation 5x^2 - 7x + 3 = 0 , then 1/x1 i 1/x2 are solution to which equation?

rvc (rvc):

did not understand

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

well you have the solution for the first equation..now you need the equation for the other 2 solutions :D

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

i tried to do it with x1+x2 and x1*x2 formulas but that didn't work :/

OpenStudy (imstuck):

This is very confusing with all the lines and i's in there. Can you clarify a bit?

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

ohh i stands for and ...sorry didn't translate that xD

OpenStudy (imstuck):

I do not understand what x1 i x2 is.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

Nor do I understand what 1/x1 i 1/x2 is.

OpenStudy (imstuck):

Can you use the drawing tool or the equation editor to make it more clear?

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

you have x1 and x2 and the equation 5x^2 - 7x + 3 = 0 so you need to find the equation for the solution 1/x1 and 1/x2

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

"i" = "and" in my language xD

OpenStudy (imstuck):

Ok, let me work this for a minute...

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

okay :)

OpenStudy (imstuck):

I don't have a clue...sorry...there are much smarter people here to ask. Wish I could help.

OpenStudy (salazarblack):

can you help me with something else? :/

OpenStudy (camerondoherty):

Like what?
