Which inequality best models the situation if variable d is the distance in kilometers? Matt wants to run more than 12.25 kilometers each weekend. Show the possible distances he may run. A. d < 12.25 and d may be a negative number. B. d <12.25 and d must be a positive number. C. d > 12.25 and d may be a negative number. D. d > 12.25 and d must be a positive number.
Is it C?
@tester97 @ganeshie8
no it's D :)
Can you explain?I'm so confused
it would have to be positive since it's greater than 12.25, and d would have to be in front of the greater than symbol (>) not the less than symbol (<) since Matt wants to run MORE THAN 12.25 km each week. Get it?
Only D has that option :)
Okay I kind of get it! If I need help will you be available?
probably :)
if you fan me, you'll be able to see when I'm online
