help with indefinite integral
338/9+(26 t)/3+t^2-320/9 log(13+3 t)
the answer above isn't correct even though i worked it out in the previous thread
Use long division to simplify it.
the program calls for an absolute value
but im not quite sure what you mean by long division here
here's the question lol
let u = 3t+13 and t =(u-13)/3 dt =(1/3 )du and so on..
Have you tried integration by parts ?
yeah that was in the first link http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/53bcc21ae4b0f3a650f8b654
here u may not need integration by parts but it is simple substituition problems..
ok can someone work through it while i take notes. im confused at this point
id really appreciate it
where is your attempt at solving this problem?
previous thread http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/53bcc21ae4b0f3a650f8b654 my helper left
yeah I saw that... that was a lot of help given to you to a point it was spoon-feeding you the answer where is your attempt
well that answer wasn't correct in the end.
so where is your attempt?
idk what exactly you're getting at but here's my answer t^2+(26t/3)-(320/9)ln(3t+13)+(338/9)
so you have an answer... why are you still looking for help? do you want us to validate your answer before you submit it and get perfect scores?
no because its wrong. already had the program validate it
okay 6 integral (t/3+160/(9 (3 t-13))+13/9) dt
doesn't work :/
1/9 (9 t^2+78 t+320 logabs((3 t-13))-507) ?
@nincompoop that doesn't work..
