I have no idea how to do this

OpenStudy (loser66):

for 13) 3 units to the right means x --> x+3 and y is the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No. 17 is choice A because distance is conserved in translation!!!

OpenStudy (loser66):

for 14) 3 units left means x--> x -3 3 units up means y --> y+3 got what I mean??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me try hang on

OpenStudy (loser66):

ok, do 13 and I can check. After finish 13,14,15, 16 you have enough confidence to do 17, 18. Take baby step first. Don't jump

okay so for 13 it would be right next to th original triangle just 3 units away correct?? so it would be on the right side

OpenStudy (loser66):

Like what you did in previous post, you figure out the new vertice first. I do the first node for you as example: A(0,-1) --> A'(3,-1) do the same with other nodes. After having 3 new points, link them to get the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get 3 from 0 ?

OpenStudy (loser66):

I told you, the formula for "to the right 3 units" is x--> x+3 A ( 0, -1) A' (0+3, -1)=(3,-1)

hm okay :S
