there is the picture of an angle with cosine \(\frac{5}{13}\) you need the missing side of the triangle which you get by pythatoras or just memorizing the \(5:12:13\) right triangle

since you are told both sine and cosine are negative that make tangent positive it is "opposite over adjacent" and you are done
