You have two triangles going on there at the same time, the bigger one and the smaller one within the bigger one. We need to find out the last side of the smaller one to figure out this answer.

We need to find x in that smaller triangle first. You have to use Pythagroean's theorem to do that, using 30 as the hypotenuse measure and 18 as one of the legs.
