OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

How do I graph x = 3sin^3 t y = 3cos^3 t? Parametric Equations

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

\[x=3\sin ^{3}t \] \[ y= 3\cos^{3}t\]

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Do I have to get t by itself first?

OpenStudy (thomas5267):

I don't think you can easily make this set of equations into a function of t. Are you allowed to use graphing calculators or something similar?

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

yes I think so

OpenStudy (thomas5267):

This is what I get from Mathematica (a mathematics software). Does not look like a function of t.

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

wellidk, I thought I had to solve first
