Which sentence uses the articles correctly? a.If Jason does not get here in a hour, I am going to leave without him. b.It’s been a year since I met her. c.She asked an university student to help her with her research project. d.We stood up for the national anthem as it was a honorable thing to do.

I feel it's D .but im not sure.

OpenStudy (wolfboy):

A, in "an hour" not a hour C. "a university" student, not an university .... D, it was "an honorable" thing to do. not a honorable ... Why? "Hour" and "Honorable" are pronounced as "ah..." sounds like a vowel "University" is pronounced as "Yu....." sounds like a consonant" So, we use an article depending on their accepted pronunciations! So, only B would be the correct one!
