so i've got this:

7x^3-65   <----that's the original, so the question states that I must write it out in descending order..

I put this as an answer,
7x^3+0x^2+0x^1-65

and it was wrong. could you help me please?

Looks OK to me maybe you shouldn't put 0x^1 just leave it as 0x.

ahh this is what happened.. I am using a math program for school called my pearsons math lab..I screwed up typing in my answer apparently..

      (notice i didn't put "7x^3"...)
I wrote in "7x3+0x^2+0x-10"    <--- i screwed it up lol.. oh well, thank you and I just wrote in the wrong answer by mistake =(
