which answer: y greater than or equal to |x + 2| + 1 y less than or equal to |x + 2| + 1 y greater than or equal to |x - 2| + 1 y less than or equal to |x - 2| + 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it was less than then the shaded area would be below the graph This gets rid of 2 answers and we're left with A and C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@doulikepiecauseidont is it A

\[\Large \left| x-\color{red}a \right|+\color{blue}k\] Moves the graph a units right and k units up \[\Large \left| x+\color{red}a \right|+\color{blue}k\] Moves the graph a units left and k units up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, it would be A because the bottom (tip) has been moved 2 units to the right (so it's |x-2| and it's one unit up so it will be |x-2|+1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mean C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@doulikepiecauseidont already submitted it as A and got it wrong :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, I thought A had the "-" but I checked and saw it was C
