The 16:4 gets reduced- correct, because I got 4.1?

hartnn (hartnn):

simple trick, if side has ratio a:b then area will have ratio a^2 :b^2 and volume will have ratio a^3 :b^3

hartnn (hartnn):

so your 4:1 is actually ratio of heights(one of the side) to find the ratio of volumes do 4^3 : 1^3 = ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:// See that's where I'm confused whether it's 4.1 or 64.1 , because when you simplify 16:4 you get 4:1 >:(

hartnn (hartnn):

you want volume ratio so 4^3 : 1^3 = 64 :1 thats it.
