Choose the graph below that has slope of zero. line through the points 0 comma 0 and 1 comma 1 horizontal line through the point 0 comma 5 line through the points negative 1 comma 1 and 0 comma 0 vertical line through the point 5 comma 0
You may find it somewhat easier to understand this problem if you write out the coordinates symbolically. For example, the first answer choice becomes "line through the points (0,00) and (1,1). Sketching the graph through these two points would probably be even more illuminating.
D?
because 0 is undefined and vertical.
I'm happy to help, but as part of the bargain I do expect you to act on at least some of my suggestions. Explain your reasoning. What do you mean by "0 is undefined"? Why do you claim that "0 is undefined"?
The y coordinates are the same.
so the lines wouldn't be vertical because only horizontal lines have the same y coordinates. My answer is B because the line goes through 6 and 5 on the y coordinate.
i mean 6 and 4.
But where do those numerals 6 and 4 come from, and what do they mean? Complete this sentence: If the slope of a given line / graph is zero, the line is ... ?? If you answer that correctly, then you can automatically eliminate one or more of the unlikely answers.
