In some bees, thin stripes (S) are dominant over thick stripes (s) and black eyes (B) are dominant over gray eyes (b). Complete a dihybrid cross for parents with the genotypes: SsBB × ssBb and answer the following in complete sentences. Describe how you would set up a Punnett square for this cross. List the likelihood of each possible offspring genotype. List the likelihood of each possible offspring phenotype

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well there are multiple ways to set up a dihybrid cross do u know the common genotype and phenotype ratios for a dihybrid cross?that would make these questions 10 times easier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i dont

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dihybrid ratios in F2 generation Phenotypic - 9:3:3:1 Genotypic - 1:2:2:4:1:2:1:2:1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those are the regular ratios that u should put to memory

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are they for? i just started this class and never heard of Dihybrid cross

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if u were to do the dihybrid cross by hand and list all the phenotypes and genotypes, u would come to the conclusion of the ratios that i just described. If u want u can just wiki it and I am sure they will explain it in detail

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay ty
