Carbohydrates break down into simple sugars, lipids break down into fatty acids, and proteins break down into amino acids. Together they are comprised of carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur. They make up everything needed to make DNA. I am not 100% but I think the answer they are looking for is A.
