Heyo. Welcome to OS. Am I correct in believing that this is a multiple choice question, and the choices are as follows: A. reviewing the URL B. determining who wrote the information the website contains C. searching for reviews of the website D.all of the above are steps in evaluating a website's reliability

A) You can determine whether or not it's a SSL connection (https), whether it's a potential phishing scam (answers.yahoo.com vs yahoo.answers.com, which one is the parent directory), and finally what the extension on the web page/file is, if any (php, html, jpeg... exe) B) This may not determine reliability as much as the legitimacy of the information presented. A trusted publisher may help to determine reliability, however. C) Reviews are helpful, but then you have to dig into the legitimacy of the reviews.
