Why is it that almost every time I'm signed on to OS, my session ends up with the warning "Uh-oh, lost the connection… Trying to reconnect now.", and I lose connection and can't see any problem I've been working on. In the meantime, I go onto other web pages, and they work fine. This only happens with OS.

There are a few reasons.

i. It may be your own ISP
ii. OpenStudy may be going through an update at that time
iii. High traffic may kick out users entering the site

We're working on expanding our servers to deal with the high capacity of users.
