Do you know how to find the dot product? since it is asking for v and w you can ignore r

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You must do ax*bx+ay*by+az*bz, you can do that ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

don't you just multiply each part (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) with it's corresponding part from the othervector and then add them? I was just double checking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes that is what you do!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simply multiply 1st term with 2nd with 2nd and 3rd with 3rd...and add them up..use usual sign if has..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(2*-2)+(-8*6)+(-8*-5)= ??? answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's -12, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what I got!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome! I just wanted to double check because I hate when I do something wrong because of something simple like bad math
