Do you know how to find the dot product? since it is asking for v and w you can ignore r
You must do ax*bx+ay*by+az*bz, you can do that ?
don't you just multiply each part (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) with it's corresponding part from the othervector and then add them? I was just double checking

Yes that is what you do!
simply multiply 1st term with 2nd with 2nd and 3rd with 3rd...and add them up..use usual sign if has..
(2*-2)+(-8*6)+(-8*-5)= ??? answer
So it's -12, right?
